Very nice video work, Gene!  The Christmas music gave me a pleasant two-month-ago flashback.  I never knew YouTube had an editing function on site--I'll have to try it.

After downloading your videos (I had mutiple clips to download) go to the editor here: http://www.youtube.com/editor and then you can insert multiple clips into one video, insert transissions, add music and do some other nifty things; all this was impossible, until I found out to get to the editor. Happy videoing, Ms. Snow.

cold

Two hour and thirty three minute commute! Hard core! you might want to try that route a non-recumbent though - just for science! I bet you could do that commute in under two and a half hours on an upright bike.

If I thought you were serious I would point out that it was the video that was described as "2:33", not the commute. ;-)

Cold and slippery too.

Damen wasn't too bad except for a few sections that got very narrow due to the bike lane being full of snow and ice. Didn't feel that cold until I had to get off the bike to lock up and then it was super miserable for about 60 seconds!

It was lovely to ride today - lovely enough that I didn't mind the time spent afterwards cleaning the salt spray off my bike. That sun felt really good.

Great night for photos and I cannot believe you found your cell phone!  Some people just live right.

Nice ride in today down Clark with my new SKS fenders (yay! no schmutz on me).  Saw the nicest "commuter" bike ever, a lovely Mitch Pryor randonneur (perhaps ranenneuse would be more appropriate, as a nice young lady was riding it).  I saw another one locked to a parking meter last summer.  Some shop in the city must carry them...
