The Chainlink

Not far, just around the block.  Slippery where it wasn't shoveled well.

I just wanted to be first to start this discussion.

184.3 after the Second Step Ride. extrapolation for 2020 steady @ 1269.2.

57 outdoor miles and 807 indoor (zwift) miles as of 2/24

136.96 for the month

202.02 for the year.

I was a bit disappointed with this mileage until I realized that I've ridden more than last year at this time by about 44 miles. Now to keep up the gains over last year.

243 this month, 637 ytd.

340 miles in March, so 977 ytd, all outdoors.

I was in Portland for much of March and all of April (back home next week). The riding is pretty spectacular out here, so my mileage jumped, 420 miles for the month, 1397 ytd.

Sweet vista. Of course, 420 Oregon miles is not equivalent to 420 Illinois miles! What's your elevation here?

The elevation isn't that high (Sandy, OR), about 500 feet. The total for the day though was 90 miles w/ 4800 feet of climbing. Definitely not northeastern Illinois terrain. :-) Flickr album for the trip here (not all bike-related, but mostly):

412 miles in May, 1389 miles ytd.

679 miles in June, 2492 miles ytd (according to Strava) or 2068 (according to my running addition, not sure where the discrepancy is).

My nearly 40yo Zefal HP pump gave up the ghost Sunday, so I've stayed closer to home the past couple days. Here's the Steelroots sculpture at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum this morning (my Griffon is keeping it from falling over).

799.1 miles in July, 2867 YTD, all outside. (Can't find my Strava YTD number, though summing its monthly values I get 3293. That site confuses me at times.)

1338.4 miles cycled in 2020 after 670.4 miles (380.4 outdoor, 290.0 indoor) for February.

140 consecutive days cycled in 2019-2020.
