The running part is turrible. However, the hanging like superman from the goofy harness part could be pretty awesome, especially if you're bombing hills.

Sorry, if its been posted here before. Haven't looked around in a while. And yes, all things 'harness' evoke erotic imagery for me as well. I have already considered ways to implement this in a dungeon setting. But all ideas failed once I remembered how retarded this is.

this does have a certain wilbur and orville wright sensibility. Just attach some davinci-esque skeletal winged contraption to the top of the arc, and you have zee zumwaltflugzeug. Embelish that with some brass and leather, and you'll be the hit at any steampunk party...
