Featuring West Town Bikes, Blackstone, The Recylclery, Chicago Velo Campus, etc. Barbara Brotman along with Blair Kamin help make reading the conservative rag known as the Chicago Tribune almost tolerable. Kudos to Brotman and all the subjects in the article.

I was just talking with someone about how driver's ed is compulsory in high school, but you'll find people misinformed on whether to ride with or against traffic on a bike, or on sidewalks vs. streets, etc. My high school didn't have space for cars, or a lot for driving lessons, but there's no reason every school couldn't have a pile of working bikes and spend a few weeks out of the year teaching kids to ride them safely and maintain them.
