I thought it was interesting to see that Austin was at the forefront. 

I've been meaning to make it out to the twin cities to cycle around. My wife has family there, but we just haven't been able to make it up there yet. Everyone tells me it's a real treat.

I've never been to Portland, but Portland not listed in the top 5?

I also found that most peculiar.  Also, as a year round cyclist in Chicago, and also ridden in Minneapolis, the "twin cities" are far more bike friendly than here. IMHO, that is.

I've gotta say that I like the Twin Cities a lot, too; for cycling and in general. Shame they're not about 500 miles further south!
