How did all our Chainlink friends do at the marathon today?
I volunteered and cheered on friends, and it seemed like a good day for a run.
yes congrats to all of you who ran and/or volunteered!
Way to go, Michael!!!

I did it in 3:16 & qualified for the Boston Marathon. Most of the run was very enjoyable. The crowd was amazing & it was wonderful to run with so many people from around the world. A big part of my success today I attribute to the cross training I did on my bike.

I started with the 3:45 pace group, and was on pace through 14 when the heat was starting to affect me. Thought I had enough in the bank to stay ahead of the 4:00 pacers, then Pilsen came :). It felt like the sun turned itself up to Ridiculous from 17-23 or so where I really broke down. Finished at 4:18:35. Still it was an amazing experience, the crowds really are fantastic, especially in the south side when struggled. Not to mention an unforgettable way to see the city. Im walking funny and avoiding stairs at all costs today, but I'll be back in 2011.
