If you haven't noticed yet, we've launched a short 5 minute survey (link here) asking about how you use The Chainlink. Please fill out the survey and give your HONEST opinions! SURVEY CLOSES TONIGHT 11:59 PM.
What do you like? What frustrates you to no end? What could be improved, added or deleted, if anything?
We are planning to launch an online fundraiser in the next few weeks to update and make improvements to the site, and need to get an idea if there is anything you'd like that would enhance your experience and the general cycling community here in the city and region.
Once you fill out the survey you will have a chance to win an awesome Bordo 6000 Folding Lock courtesy of Abus worth $129!!!
Thank you for being a part of The Chainlink!

Last day!
How did I miss this thread the first time around?
I must have missed it on the This Week On The Chainlink newsletter too. I need to read those more carefully I guess!
The link to the survey has been posted at the top of the forum list for quite a while ;-)
Some people visit the site once a month, some every hour, some just read the newsletter and never go on the site. Some may just follow our tweets or facebook post which are both pretty infrequent.

And I've already done the survey and went and said that the main page layout isn't confusing...
D'oh!
Maybe I just need new glasses.

I didn't see it -but I already mentioned that I probably need new glasses.
It's a good question though. I usually end up here following the link in the reply emails. Unfortunately just about every forum has a different format as to how these links are positioned. Some have the links to reply, visit, and unsubscribe in different orders so I sometimes hurriedly click on the wrong link and end up unsubscribing sometimes and need to re-subscribe again.
The way that this forum has a simple "Follow" or "Unfollow" at the bottom of each thread is VERY handy -without any extra page loadings to confirm or set up the details of announcements (individual emails, daily digest, etc.) This is a very nice feature and appreciate it quite a bit. On many forums it is a series of clicks and page or pop-up loads before one can change status.
I also have a bookmark "Favicon" on my bookmarks bar that is just the icon of The Chainlink. I have it set to the forum page which I use as my homepage for this site and then surf off of that after I scan the top threads that are trending.

Can't remember-- was there a question about how people access the site?i.e. type in the URL each time, or have it bookmarked on a portal page? Do they have the home page bookmarked or the forum page... or do they always tune in via a link in their e-mail? Would be interesting in terms of how to have a more active user base, I think.
