Are Chainlinkers aware of this website that gives you an estimated cash value of a used bicycle?

Neat!  I've been waiting for such a thing to appear.

It's a fun resource.  I used it to figure out exactly what year my old (now I know 1996) trek mountain bike was: they list all the paint schemes, components, etc.  And I learned it's worth $93! Sweet!  Only nobody on Craigslist wanted to buy it :(

I think it's a good idea, but doesn't show what I feel a bike is worth.

Example:

2014 Surly Long Haul Trucker

MSRP:$1350

Resale Value:

$720 - $741 (Like-New)

$688 - $708 (Excellent)

$630 - $649 (Good)

$426 - $439 (Fair)
I've seen excellent stock LHT's that are two years old sell for over $1k.

A bike is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.  This isnt necessarily the same value as data aggregated from Ebay.
