Divvy is great for getting around as long as I can fit whatever I'm carrying in my backpack or on the front basket. That means it's not so good for grocery shopping, traveling with my kid, or hauling stuff. Does anyone know of any divvy-compatible accessories like panniers, trailers or kid seats?

Po Campo is coming out with a bag designed for bikeshare bikes. Be on the lookout for updates.

Still not big enough for groceries and certainly not for trailers or kids seats. Would you really divvy with kids strapped on? I don't have kiddos, but it's kind of a pain to load up my two dogs and would definitely want to do that at home, with my own bike. I wouldn't trust anything that would be easily removable and transferable from bike to bike, except maybe for groceries...

Also, I think the Divvy folks use something like the Burley Travoy to bring around repair equipment by bike

Theoretically anything that attaches to a seat post would work. The Travoy looks interesting because it can be wheeled like a luggage dolly when off the bike.

Other trailers with rear axle or chain/seat stay mount would not work.

Clever solution.

I LOVE my travoy, very flexible and stores in the size of a baggie

I emailed Divvy last summer to ask about a kid hauling solution- because wouldn't that be cool?  Specifically I asked about using some sort of alternative hitch for a Burley D'Lite.  They said they'd check with legal and get back to me...  I have seen the Travoy on them before, too bad I can't just bungee my three year old to one of them.

I've seen a child sitting on the front basket on a Divvy.
