Yes it is! We have Johnny Sprockets practice dates on the calendar starting in August: http://www.thechainlink.org/events/cross-practice

They have a great cx practice on Cricket Hill.

I'm sure there will be more opportunities for training very soon. It's a little early so not all of the teams have organized yet. :-)
