Making candidates aware of ped, cycling AND transit issues is more important than focusing on just one aspect, because so many of us use two or three of these modes of transportation in combination in the course of an average day or week.

So far, Miguel del Valle is the only mayoral candidate who is including anything about sustainable transportation in the issues statement on his web site.
Since Rahm Emanuel has consistently been so far ahead in the polls, we really need to make a strong grassroots effort to put sustainable transportation (cycling, walking AND public transit) on his radar. Here's the contact link to submit ideas.
