Slightly off-topic:

Looks like Active Trans has a great deal for renewing you membership when attending the swap: $20 gets you into the swap, a one-year membership, and a map. Probably the best offer I have seen in years

We have lots of space available...we currently have the auditorium and one gym reserved. If we have to add a second gym, we will be happy to do that.

Please feel free to get individuals together for table-sharing! We are asking organizations/businesses to not share space, though.

We're not doing this event as a fundraiser, but as a community builder which is why we will offer the good membership deal. We hope to cover our costs and make a donation to our partner, Chicago Bike Winter.

Thanks, all.

Heya folks,

7 weeks out. Your favorite Chicago bike advocacy organizations would love to have any help you can offer talking up the swap to your local bike shop crew, your club or team leadership, or anyone you think may be interested. There are some good businesses and organizations signed up already but plenty more space available.

Just tell them to go to activetrans.org/swap, or google Chicago Cycle Swap (Chicago Bike Swap returns the listing further down the page-- make sure you mention it's the swap in Chicago and not the "Chicago Winter Bike Swap" in Palatine).

Chicago Cycling Club will be there.  We're looking forward to seeing lots of you at the swap.
