I think it would be fun to assemble a picture/video archive representing movie-stars, musicians, politicians, etc ... on a BIKE. My pick is from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969). Pictured here is Paul Newman and Katharine Ross. One of the great classic scenes of Hollywood. Any more contributions to this thread are welcomed.

Was very pumped to do this build for Henry Cavill, Man of Steel in 2011. Hard to imagine how you can cut someone a cool deal and sell them a steel track bike for around $3500. Jerry Chan put together this deal for us and told us you have to see the movie. Feature shot. As in the last one. Lasts approximately 1.2 seconds. Fame can be so fickle!

Short shout out to brands featured on same:

Pake

Campagnolo

Paul Components

Velocity

White Industries

Phil Wood

LH Thomson

I seem to remember Kevin Bacon doing some starry stuff on an eighties road bike in an 80s movie which may have been about courier riders. If that was him actually doing the starry stuff.

Mr. Sulu, please tell Mr. Spock that if he doesn't lock it I am going to ride off with it. He should have  deduced this.  Wait, is the Vulcan now  showing emotion because he is alleging that somebody pilfered his wheels? Now set a course for the local coffee shop.

Still haven't seen Quicksilver.  I wonder if Netflix or Amazon have it.  If not, how do I get old movies these days now that we don't have video rental stores.

Quicksilver is readily available from Netflix, Amazon Instant Video and on Blu-rayDVD starting used at $1.95, and VHS starting used at $0.79.  Enjoy.

[Or if you're handy with the ol' BitTorrent, a pirated version is easy to find for a free download.]

I was reading the Sept 11 issue of Rolling Stone (tribute to Robin Williams), and this picture of Kesha was in the magazine.

While searching for that online, I also found:
