Holy carp! A stealth river route from Diversey to Montrose

As part of a series on stealth bike routes (thanks Chainlinkers for sharing some of your favorite routes!) I went and photographed a "secret" route along the Chicago river from Diversey to Montrose. Along the way I encountered a barbecuing bicycle hobo, amorous Lane Tech students, an Ecuadorian food truck, some sweet jumps, annoying new bike racks at the Old Town School, plus a twenty-pound Asian carp:

Yikes, does this mean the Army Corp of Engineer's will electrify the Lock?

The dad told me it was a carp, but maybe he was wrong. I'm no ichthyologists.

Are you referring to the ASIAN Carp? I think the netted fish is a different type of carp.
