Calumet-Sag Trail on Gapers Block

On last Tuesday's Gapers Block, writer Sheila Burt gave the best overview ever given of the current status, challenges and opportunities of the Trail. Includes an interview with Mayor Robert Polk of Burnham, the region's only mayor who's also a steel worker. That's some serious Southland cred right there.

Excellent piece. I'm excited about the trail's potential for a big touring loop with transit connections.
