I got a flat on my way north on Clybourn last week, due to broken glass in the protected lane. There was no way to avoid it. The glass was still there yesterday, but I survived. Is there a way to get such situations remedied? I don't carry a broom with me. One benefit of sharing the lane with cars is that car tires tend to remove the shards.

Still there - along with lots of gross trash - as of Monday night this week when I saw Wonder Woman. Erg. Ypu have ride right through it.

Not sure how we can get drivers to stop throwing their empty bottles to the curb, in the river, etc.  I wish I had an answer.  I wish I knew how to make drivers think of the city as their home, as a place they don't want to trash.  But something about being in the metal box makes them think of the entire outside world as their trash bin.

There is an "Other" option under "Bicycle Program" which then lets you describe the issue in a text field. Might be worth a shot?

For non-PBL glass in the street/bike lane, there is a general street sweeping request available also (not in the Bicycle Program category).

I've used this more than once for glass and debris on Vincennes. It worked.

When I see debris in the bike that is a hazard to other bikers and motor vehicles I follow this procedure:

1.  Stop

2. Place bike out of harms way

3. Remove debris from the road.

4. Remount bicycle

5. Ride off

6. Don't B&M (complain)!

Are you a troll? That's a somewhat rude and altogether ridiculous response.

Or, I should say, please go ride down the Clybourn pbl.
Every now and then the portion of it past Starbucks to Marianos the passenger windows of vehicle are busted out, looking like a bunch of break ins. I had to get off my bike and go up on the sidewalk.
