Thieves got away with 10 bikes between around 11pm Friday May 11th and 7:30am this morning, it looked like they knew exactly what they wanted to take.
We recovered 4 at Swap-O-Rama, kudos to the police of the 9th district, and I now hear that the Terry Symmetry has also been found - so that leave these 5, please keep an eye out for them ...

So sorry. Glad you were able to recover five and will definitely keep an eye out for the rest.
And the remaining bikes may well still have their Blue City Cycles stickers on 'em, they hadn't been taken off of any of the bikes recovered so far - it's just as well these guys aren't, typically, very bright?
Glad to hear that 5 are found. I hope the others are also found soon.
I'm really glad Blue City is in good with their local police and that they've had so much help. However, I don't understand why bikes are still being at the swap o rama. Everybody knows it's bad news. Well, most everybody.

"Cmdr. Kenny said his officers have found no clear outlet for stolen bikes, suggesting that tales of bike shops and flea markets that deal in hot cycles are more “urban legend” than fact. Indeed, he said that many stolen bikes wind up being sold for scrap metal."
I wonder if it's mostly older bikes that get sold for scrap. Would be an even bigger shame to see something like a Yuba Mundo to be sold for scrap.
Hope your bikes are found, Blue City.
Two more bikes recovered, the women's Nomad and the Yuba were found in the alley behind the shop!
The Terry, and lots of other stolen property, was recovered on Saturday when the police searched the accomodation of one of those arrested on Saturday at Swap-O-Rama. This is quite close to the bike shop in Bridgeport and makes you think that they may have been in on the break-in?
Did another of those that broke into the bike shop get wind of this, suspect they'd been rumbled and dump these two bikes before they were found in their possession?
I am glad to hear more bikes have been recovered, that is awesome!
Sounds to me like you are right, somebody heard the heat was on and wanted to get those bikes off their hands.
