The routes are all new this year, and the 65 mile route includes some locations never before visited on BLT.

Hey all, today is the last day to save $5 ($20 Active Trans members, $25 everyone else) for this awesome ride.

 

If you can't join us, please tell your bikey friends, we'd appreciate it.

• Four cool Chicago routes (12-, 22-, 35- and 65-miles), lots of  neighborhoods, parks, streets, architecture...Chicago-style (with mustard).

• Music, Goose Island beer, picnic lunch and more at festival.

• New Safe City Cycling option for $25 extra (ride the 12-mile route with a group, get a bike check and traffic safety workshop with a local pro bike instructor).

We're also, of course, looking for volunteers (volunteer pre-event and get a comp to the ride, any day-of volunteers can do the VIP volunteer Pre-Ride (Sunday, Aug. 14).

I signed up for the 65 but think i'll do the 21 instead. Is there any problem with just doing the other route when i show up?

Not at all, that just helps us with rough counts...we recommend checking the routes/timing page and showing up even earlier to get your packet with the correct ride guide (21).

Consider this: Perimeter Ride on Saturday and 65-mile Ultimate Neighborhood Ride on Sunday (or 12-, 22- or 35-mile routes).
