The Divvy thread is already unwieldy so here's a little fantasy thread.

List your 3 most desired or most likely trips that you would find bike sharing useful for.

Keep it to three trips, max 6 station locations, otherwise no rules (they can be in Antarctica, on the moon, or even the south side.)

Format: Station location, station location, reason.

Mine:

1) Madison elevated station, Pritzker Pavillion (I run down and catch a lot of free evening concerts in the summertime.)

2) Madison Elevated Station, Orchestra Hall (220 S. Michigan).  Similar deal.

3) Cermak/Michigan, Charter One Pavillion. Concerts.

1. LaSalle St. Metra station - Pritzker Pavilion - concerts/movies

2. State St. (somewhere near Adams) to middle of River North - meeting friends for lunch

3. State St. (somewhere near Adams) to Wabash/Roosevelt - shopping runs to Trader Joe's

1. Home to Ravenswood Metra station to take train to work if I am too lazy to ride all the way in. and Vice versa in the afternoon.

2. Ride to the bar (any bar, really) on nights when i expect to get inebriated. Would take the bus or a cab home.

3. Ride from Union Station (near my work) to River North or Wicker Park to meet Mrs. Duppie after work for drinks, shopping or whatever. We'd likely take the bus home together. Would coincide with trip #1 in the morning.

1. Garfield Green Line station to 57th & Ellis, Hyde Park (frequent work site).

2. Ogilvie Transportation Center to anywhere inside the Loop (my most common trail from the northern suburbs).

3. Loop to Chinatown or Pilsen (for lunch or dinner). 'Cuz I like my dim sum & barbacoa.

I could make another list:

1. LaSalle St. Metra station to 19th/Wells (Ping Tom Park) - visiting the park or having dinner nearby

2. Garfield green line station to Museum of Science and Industry - visiting the museum, Osaka Garden/Wooded Island, and/or a nearby restaurant

3. Pritzker Park to Taylor/May - visiting friends in the 'hood or having dinner on Taylor St.

Berwyn or Argyle Red Line over to Clark and Foster would be a nice Divvy route, if it hasn't already been proposed.

Okaaaay.  My revised version:

1. Garfield Green Line station to Pritzker School of Medicine, 57th & Ellis, Hyde Park (frequent work site from a location you usually can't get a taxi from if you threw yourself out into the street.  And bus service ain't great there either).

2. Ogilvie Transportation Center to anywhere inside the Loop the Art Institute of Chicago (to look at pitchers 'n stuff).

3. Art Institute of Chicago to Chinatown or Pilsen Cai, 2100 S Archer or El Chivo Feliz, 2023 S Western (for lunch or dinner). 'Cuz Evanston Chinese or Mexican restaurants are kinda sucky in comparison. And the Red Line closing for the season makes Chinatown, at least, a bit more challenging to get to.

L stop at Belmont/Sheffield to Bad Apple/Half Acre on Lincoln because it's dumb to take the train on that route, but it would be nice not to have to walk/cab there and back if I'm going to have more than one.

I really don't want to say what bars I frequent. Or where I live for that matter. I just might end up running into you.

Dagnabbit, can't take you guys anywhere!

Specific locations please, not "home" or "bars" or "Pilsen."

Sheesh!

Ok, that was unncessary harsh and uncalled for. To make it up I shall tell you and the entire Chainlink community where my home is.

Pretty sure nobody cares where you live, but I know the CL community (me) is dying to know: is Mrs. Duppie hot?

Lizzy, what about taking the brown line to Montrose, a few blocks walk from the Bad Apple?
