Bike parking near LaSalle St. Metra station

For the forseeable future, I will need to park a beater bike overnight at the LaSalle St. Metra station. I do see the bike racks outside the station on the street.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any more protected parking in that area? Something under an overhang of some sort, or in an area where its less likely to be messed with?

Seems like most people who leaves bikes overnight in that area lock them to one of the racks around the Board of Trade. There are some on Financial Place that are at least partially protected from the elements. Less likely to be messed with? Don't know if any spots like that exist close to the station.

Anyone else got other suggestions?

You might ask at the Harris Youth Hostel (Wabash & Congress) if they'd allow you to lock your bike in their bike room overnight in exchange for a small donation.
