Mine are The Bicycle Thief (Ladri di Biciclette), Breaking Away, American Flyer and Rad. Obviously the 80's were the best years for bike movies. Know what, even add skateboard and rollerblade movies to your list as well.

I just made the best bicycle movie ever. I call it a day at the shop.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure really captured the healthy obsession a person can have with their bike.

Below is a video about "The Ethics of Stealing Bicycles". I am not agreeing with the guy, just posting it.

The Bicycle Thief

A agree. This is not just a great bike film, but one of my favorite films ever. Top five for sure.

Ladri is a plural form of thief. The English subtitled versions of the film botched or perhaps made a translation choice which is incorrect. There is not just one act of bike theft in the film and I think we should trust the filmmaker rather than the subtitlers and use the title that he chose.
