There is still time to vote of course. And being a Chicago ride, you can vote often.

Either way, the ride will be announced on Sunday to give a full week's notice of the ride location and meeting place. Cheers.

I was recently informed that the virtual tour of Avondale was not working properly. Here is the link to the newly working virtual tour from our original visit to that community last year. Be forewarned, this will take you to a PDF link of a HUGE file -almost 21MB. This is because there are tons of high-resolution photos of the fine specimins of homes, buildings, parks, schools and churches in the area. If you are operating tabs, it will load quickest if you leave the tab open and let it load. Doing background tasks will slow it down. I am only posting the link, not the file:

Cheers and hope to see some of you on Sunday. Here is the event website:

This is for anyone that is interested in the turn by turn directions and anyone that is trying to hook up with the ride in progress.

John from Michigan requested it, but I figures others might be keen to see it as well.

Also, we are doing another partnership with the Eat to Ride, Ride to Eat group and will hook up with a feast/drink/post-ride get together at Kuma's Corner at 2900 W Belmont. If you should want to just meet up with us at Kuma's that should probably get started around 4:00 or so. The ride is only about 11-12 miles so we should be there by 4:00 or close to that.

Best Regards,

Lee Diamond
