The Chainlink

Anybody else having trouble getting through to the Active Transportation Alliance website?

I was trying to renew, but can't.  As of Saturday afternoon, 4 PM, 4/24/10.

Me too. Sure hope this is just a fluke. Hard times have delayed my joining this year but I am thinking that Bike The Drive will have me renewing my membership. ATA where are you?
When the Apple website goes down there's always an instant buzz that it's going to come up with some tempting new product; maybe there's some major bike advocacy surprise about to be unveiled?
Is there a way to get a text notification when it comes back up again?
I think the whole office went down, so to speak, and had to be closed for several days this week. Maybe the server was affected.
The sites back up. Looks good too. Changed since I've been on it last. Glad to have ATA, now all I need to do is bite the bullit and re-join / re-new.
Hey all, we are planning to move our site to a different host to avoid having it crash, etc. every couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, we can't safely do this until after Bike to Work Week is over (too busy right now to take the time to do it correctly).

So, we'll continue to reboot as quickly as possible when it goes down. Thanks to everyone who is keeping us posted about the crashes, it really does help.

Thanks,
Ethan, with Active Trans

PS: Ken, do it!
It's up again. I renewed. Thanks, ATA.

Thank you, Bob!

All of us at Active Trans
That is the new computer guy I think...
And just a heads up, all...we will be taking the site down at 5pm tonight for some other updates.

Thanks,
Ethan, with Active Trans
