Anybody aware the bike accident at the corner of Lincoln/Addison last night around 7:30?

Biker was on ground, ambulance and other emergency responders were there and more coming. I saw the fireman putting a bike in the back of the truck. I felt sick to my stomach...that is a bad spot for bikers and cars to co-mingle.

There was a rider getting loaded into the ambo by Caldwell and Milwaukee Thursday night around 730 pm. It was pretty apparent that a car tried to swing around the backed up line of left turners and struck the rider who looked to be pulling out of the parking lot for the forest preserve.

I ride that same way every day on my way to work, twice a day, so it was a real eye opener for me to be vigilant, especially with darkness setting in earlier and earlier. Ride safe everyone!
