Nice! I so needed that 8 hrs ago!
Smart to include a center stand. My huge box of recycling made it super hard to even lean the bike up against anything. I also love/covet the green paint!

The kickstand comes standard. We'll see how it holds up when loaded.
The picture is not the greatest, but color is very nice indeed and pretty much is what made me decide to go for the Civia. The only other cycle truck available, the Soma Tradesman, comes in black only. And the Civia, since it is sold as a complete bike, is much more affordable.

I test rode one this winter on a snowy slushy day (there was one of those, remember) at Jon's shop. What a fun bike in the slop. It handled great and get a lot of waves from passers by on the street.
I was disappointed a bit in the weight limit up front. You'd think they could beef it up some.
Yeah, the 50 LB weight limit seems aimed at keeping the ambulance chasers at bay.
In this video, the Civia rep mentions 200-220LB being closer to the actual capacity. If I need to carry that much weight, I'd rent a car anyway.
Edit: video doesn't like to be embedded. Here is the link: http://video.bicycling.com/video/Civia-Halsted

They've gotta supply the brake, where else would one find one so modern?
I am not a huge fan of fixies but this bike is all sorts of sexy... More pics @ http://superbbicycle.com/2012/09/26/daves-superb-sprint-custom-build/
