Since I am just joining and we are all basically new here. I was just wondering what everyone rides here. I always recognize the bike before the person, just wondering if I saw some of you guys around on the road.

I ride the following, depending on my mood...
-Specialized 2009 Langster Road Bike with flip flop hub (fixed), carbon fiber fork and seat post
-Nirve Pyro Cruiser with Nexus Planetary Gear: 3 Gears..
-Custom Lowrider Stretch Cruiser with Apehanger bars and banana seat (Single Coaster Gear)

Piks of each are all on my page if you wanna lookie.

What do you ride?

mercier fixed gear 48x15

I also have a khs 500 that has been on many a long ride, but haven't ridden that in a long while...
bump. here's my new build

In reverse order of age:

2009 Jamis Sputnik with Velocity Aeroheads and Velocity/Formula hubs. Currently set up 46/16 (Sputniks come stock with that ratio). It's my fixed gear "bling bike" and I will probably continue to put too much money into it. :)

1983 Trek 520, components are from the era except for a Selle An-Atomica leather saddle. It's my touring/distance bike, complete with rack and panniers. I love this bike more each time I ride it, and I'm finding that I prefer friction shifters over the indexed variety?? The saddle is great too, anyone looking for a nice leather saddle should consider the brand.

1979-ish Peugeot UO-8, converted to single speed. This bike is definitely the all-weather beater, complete with full fenders, pocked paint and the occasional strange creak. Despite that, I still find it fun to ride--people are right when they talk about old French road bikes having a nice feel to them.

I think I have my old, heavy mountain bike in a closet somewhere too.

Pictures of the first two are on my profile. At some point I'll get around to taking a picture of my Peugeot, but she ain't much to look at. :)
1. Surly Pacer -- Dura Ace 7800 drivetrain, Dura Ace wheelset, Dura Ace 7810 pedals, Thomson Masterpiece seat post, Thomson Elite road stem, Chris King headset, Ritchey WCS drop bars, Fizik Arione saddle (with built-in blinky light), Conti GP 4000 tires...and the icing on the cake...Wheels Manufacturing ceramic bottom bracket. In a year or so, I'll hopefully upgrade to an Indyfab frame, possibly the Club Racer model.

2. Trek 69er Single Speed -- bone stock, 2007 model with Maverick Duc 32 inverted fork and Avid Juicy 7 brakes.

3. Jamis Sputnik -- Velocity Deep V's with Phil Wood high flange track hubs, Truvativ Omnium cranks, Shimano XTR pedals, Ritchey WCS carbon seat post and stem, Dura Ace front brake, Fizik Arione saddle (with built-in blinky light), Conti Gatorskin tires.
My dad's old 1972 Schwinn Continental that I used to ride on the back of when I was little. I've changed the handlebars and made it a single speed. Also a Bianchi Avenue for longer rides or when I want gears.
My rides:

-2008 Trek Madone 4.5
-2007 Trek SU200
-2009 Mercier Kilo TT
-1976 Schwinn Varsity (currently single speed)
Custom built Schwinn cruiser with high rise bars, front rack, bells and horns and a stoker seat. Phat coach 7spd stretch high rise cruiser with fenders. Rans dynamic custom built commuter. Bianchi tt bike custom rebuilt for fixed. Schwinn cruiser custom built for speeed with 700c rims. and so many more because I have a building / fixing addiction.
- 08 Fuji Track. Not very trackbike-like, but a fun fixed gear bike nonetheless.
2007 Raleigh Grand Sport
2008 Trek SU 2.0
speedy cruiser
