100 Miles of Continuous Biking Trails in Illinois

This is part of a planned 500 mile regional trail. 

"Officials and enthusiasts on Sunday celebrated the opening of the extensions of the Thorn Creek Trail and Old Plank Road Trail with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at a Chicago Heights access point to the Thorn Creek Trail."

One of our own, Chainlinker Larry Mysz is quoted in the article, "I think it's great we now have a connection for the people who are not particular experienced cyclists and are nervous about riding on roads."

It's exciting to see new trails being paved as well as beautiful new campgrounds in Illinois.
