Series Info

Mountain bike racing, especially WORS racing, is not just for the highly trained and talented. It is a great physical activity that can add to your health and quality of life. WORS is as much about fun, shared experiences and making new friends as it is about the racing. WORS is open to all and welcomes new female and male participants of all ages and athletic abilities. The high number of families participating in the series is a great measure of this as not only are dad and the kids out there having fun, many moms are as well.

WORS is America’s Largest State Mountain Bike Racing Series. We focus on racer experience, and our goal is to host events that offer a quality, safe, fun, competitive mountain biking experience to as many people as possible. Every WORS race begins on Saturday, with a marked pre-ride of the course and free Learn to Race Clinic hosted by experienced WORS Racers. On Sunday, Juniors, Citizens, Sport, and Elite Racers race on courses designed specifically for their fitness and ability levels. The majority of WORS races offer onsite camping and concessions. WORS events are a great way to spend an afternoon pushing yourself to your limit on challenging, fun singletrack, or a whole weekend enjoyed with family and friends. In fact, most WORS racers do both! Above all, WORS is a community that has grown over 24 years of great racing fun. We invite you to the next WORS race to experience for yourself what the WORS community has to offer.
