FINAL WNBR-C8 ANNOUNCEMENT

CHECK-IN this Saturday after 6pm at the HarpO sign sculpture at about 1025 W Randolph.
Participants on people powered wheels will be forwarded to start location. We ride after 8p.
FANS: We *may* reach Wrigley on Addison after 10pm.

World Naked Bike Ride is a massive public awareness event, promoting freedom from oil and the beauty of people. It happens world-wide since 2004, with Chicago among the largest. Bare-as-you-dare outfits range from body paint to fanciful costumes to undies and less. The ride is extremely joyful and transcendently fun, while important and earnest.

WE'RE LEAVING EARLY (8pm):
Ride leaves before sun sets, for slightly better light and warmth. Make sure your bike's ready and that you're capable of over a dozen miles in under three hours.

CROWDING:
Weather and publicity and history may bring record turnout. I recommend being low maintenance, come pre-decorated, hang streetside, and disrobe upon launch.

World Naked Bike Ride (since 2004). Yearly. Gathering and body painting from 6p. Departure at 9p.
Massive bike and skate event celebrating the end of the oil era, and promoting positive body image. Held globally with dozens of cities participating, and Chicago routinely setting U.S. turnout records.
This is a bare-as-you-dare event with outfits ranging from body paint to fanciful costumes to beach-wear. Chicago's past rides rallied many hundreds of cyclists and numerous skaters covering over a dozen miles of high visibility city tourism and recreation areas. The ride's atmosphere is extremely joyful and transcendently fun.
Bicycles constitute the best solution to reducing America's petroleum addiction and improving public health. With gas prices skyrocketing and obesity an epidemic, our messages have become truisms.
