Join in the fun! Downtown Palatine Street Fest is being held the weekend of Aug. 22-24, 2014, in Palatine, a Northwest Chicago suburb. The large community event offers fun, food, music, entertainment and activities for the entire family. Admission to the popular street festival is free.
One of the festival's highlights include CycleFest hosted by the Bike Palatine Club and the Palatine Park District. The ride will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 9 a.m., departing from Towne Square at Smith and Slade Streets. This year's CycleFest offers three casual tours (9, 15, or 23 miles) throughout the scenic streets and paths of Palatine to raise money for improvements needed as outlined on the bike plan with the goal of making the Village of Palatine a bicycle-friendly community.
A fun family friendly event. Participants under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are required for all riders. Registration fee of $25 included performance fabric shirt and lots more!
