The Colombian National Women’s Cycling Team is in the United States for a few weeks this Spring.  Come ride with these top women road cyclists on the Ten 27 Cycling Club’s Betty Ride on Sunday morning, June 2^nd.

Meet at Wheel & Sprocket, 1027 Davis Street, Evanston, ready to ride at 8:00 am for a brisk-paced group ride of approximately 40 to 45 miles.  Celebrate the ride and socialize over drinks and snacks at Wheel & Sprocket after the ride is over.  Learn what life is like on the international pro circuit and the obstacles these women have overcome in Colombia to have “made it” at this level.

The Ten 27 Betty Ride is an athletic and supportive ride designed specifically for women riders ready for the next level.  Learn and practice group riding skills in a nurturing, yet challenging environment.  Become comfortable following a wheel and riding in a group.  Led by experienced women riders and racers interested in growing women’s cycling.  Traffic laws are observed and helmets are required.  Route is 40-50 miles through the northern suburbs.  For more info, sign up for the Yahoo!
