Ride of Silence Arlington Heights May 16, 2012 Wednesday

The 10th annual worldwide Ride of Silence in Arlington Heights on May 16th 2012.  This ride honors those who have been killed or injured while riding a bicycle while reminding the public that we are on the roads and share the road responsibly.   Location:  500 East Miner, Arlington Heights.  Please arrive at 6:30PM as the ride leaves at 7PM sharp.  Ride at a slow pace and silently for one hour.   If you cannot join us in Arlington Heights there are rides in Bartlett,  Batavia,  Chicago, Crystal Lake, Downers Grove, Joliet,  Peoria, Urbana, and Winfield and more than 300 locations worldwide.  http://www.rideofsilence.org/chicago/  or email rideofsilence@cyclearlington.com for more information.

The Ride of Silence is an event you don’t want to miss. There is no registration and no fees.  The ride happens at 7PM local time in each participating location.  If you cannot come to one of the Illinois locations, you can organize your own local ride. See www.rideofsilence.org for information.
