Join us for the second Radical History Bicycle Tour of Chicago and learn about our city's deep history and traditions of radicalism; the socialists, anarchists, feminists, and union militants who struggled to make real progressive change.
Tour stops and lectures will include: The Murals of Pilsen, A People's History of Cook County Hospital, the 1997 UPS Strike, Irish radicalism in Chicago, Hull House and Black Writers of the West Side, and the struggle for Abortion rights.
The tour is a fundraiser for the Chicago district of the International Socialist Organization. We are asking for a donation of $5 to $20 for the ride. No one will be turned away for the lack of funds.
Bring your bicycle and meet us at Cafe Jumping Bean (1439 w. 18th st in pilsen) at 10:30am. A cookout will follow the tour!
