The first up in the Bleeding Randonneur series is the new 300k, My Nose is Bleeding. It has 9,500 ft of climbing reported by RWGPS. It also is rigged to include every nasty hill possible and relentless hills. This should make you feel like the 300k out and back to Brest from Loudeac - even though you are starting fresh.
Club members local to the area who know all the worst hills were enlisted to help with the route design. There is at least one 40 mile section with no services. And there is a little bit of gravel too (but honestly, it's in better shape than many of the roads). The ride starts in Oregon, IL and heads north on scenic roads to Mt. Horeb, WI.
