Description

If any vintage road bike enthusiasts feel like braving the cold and grey weather, a group of us will be taking a social pedal along the length of the Chicago lakefront path tomorrow, followed by a burger and beer at Moody's Pub (in Edgewater ).

We'll start at the top of the path, ride to about 67th St, and then ride back north to Moody's. Folks can ride the full ride, or turn back at any point they see fit. We'll likely have a wide variety of speeds (most riding in 16-18 mph range), fitness levels, etc. Most folks will be riding vintage road racing bikes, but a few won't. The emphasis is on social interaction and a fun ride. All are welcome.

The weather will be on the cool side (and there's a small chance a sprinkle), but we're still on. It looks like we'll have 15-20 people or so. If you're interested, let me know where you plan on meeting up, so that we can keep an eye out for you. The rough schedule is:

Foster Beach House at 1020.

North Ave. Chess Pavilion at 1045.

Moody's by about 1:30?
