Oh dear, the weather outside is frightful.

I'll bring a couple thermi (I have no idea what the plural of thermos is...) of hot chocolate to share with anyone foolish enough to show up...

I will be coming early and painting little faces! Andrew said he may bring his kit too but may be busy with other stuff...I would like to invite another painter to paint with me, sharing my paint!

Anyone interested in helping plan this ride, please come this Saturday morning (13th) to the New Wave Cafe (Logan & Milwaukee) by 10:00 AM where we'll work on this ride followed by a general Bicycle Boulevards Now meeting.

I'll be there at 9:30 AM and will likely be leaving around 10:30 to try and make the St. Pat's parade.

I love that this is starting at Palmer Square, where I started learning to ride as a little kid. :)

If the rules change and a child is mandatory, I have at least 2 nephews coming and they would be happy to be adopted out for the ride.

You qualify Julie, the ride is for kids of ALL ages. Hopefully there will be plenty of us older kids to watch out for the younger ones.

Do we have to have a kid to participate?

Good location. I'm a huge fan of that chain of parks. MAP LINK

Note that March 20th is the Vernal Equinox, official start of spring, night and day equal length, sun 06:02-18:11.
Also "Great American Meatout" date since 1985.
And the robotics competition regional finals at UIC Pavilion. I've gone for a decade. Its fantastic, all ages, and free.

By having fun, we'll demonstrate what streets could look like - full of happy kids.
