Format

Multi-day Omnium featuring an Individual Time Trial, a Circuit Race and a Road Race.

Saturday, June 11 (TT and Circuit Race) & Sunday, June 12 (Road Race)

Course Description

The race will continue to feature the challenging, rolling terrain of northwest Illinois, and to feature the best true road racing in the state. The action starts Saturday morning with a 9-mile out-and-back TT on Apple River Road and continues in the afternoon with a spectator-friendly Circuit Race on a 3-mile loop near the Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa. The weekend culminates on Sunday with the road race, featuring an 18-mile looped course that offers races of up to 90 miles for the P/1/2s.

SATURDAY, JUNE 11 

INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIAL 
Weekend racing kicks off with an individual “Merckx” style time trial over an 8 mile out-and-back rolling course. Racers are off every 30 seconds starting at 7:00AM.

CIRCUIT RACE 
Racers head to the Shenandoah Riding Center in Galena Territory for the Circuit Race. The course features a 3.1-mile rolling loop around the riding center with great visibility of the course for spectators.

SUNDAY, JUNE 12 

ROAD RACE 
The road race course at HILLinois showcases the challenging terrain of northwest Illinois from which the race derives its name. Racers will compete over multiple laps of an 18-mile looped course with four climbs per lap.
