Description

Ready to try out racing your bike but not sure? Done a few races but feel you could arm yourself with some more information bout the scene? Maybe you've done triathalons and want to change it up? This is the event for you!

Pre-register here

A teaser of the topics:

  • reasons to race vs ride recreationally
  • impediments that need not be
  • terms, gear, race types
  • what happens in a race and what to do
  • plus more!

We've lined up Pascale Petro to bring you up to speed. With over 7 BIG wins, to their name including the Illinois State Road Race Championship, The Alexian Brothers’ Tour of Elk Grove and the National Criterium Championships, Pascale Petro came and conquered the sport of cycling and now focuses on coaching. Ms. Petro will be sharing their experience from years of successful racing to help women new to the sport.

Light refreshments will be available (coffee and treats). There will be a handout to take home! Otherwise just bring your questions and an open mind.  Later throughout the spring several teams/CWEC will be offering more 'technical' clinics to take part in. This event is geared towards the newer or thinking about it rider.

ALSO!  Any rider that comes to this clinic then comes and races at the Skyway Classic Crit Series, will get their one day license fee comp'd at the registration table.

Basic Details:
