Fundraising Event for Pooper at rodan

Those of you who have been walking and riding the streets of Wicker Park these past 7-8 years would have seen Elisa Harkins' (aka Pooper) art on boarded up storefronts. Yetis, eskimos, magical cicadas, owls, polar bears, kissers, bunny kissers....made out of wood, paper....yeah, you've seen them.

Last April 4th, she was riding her bike home from downtown when she was struck by a van.

She suffered a head injury, three days afterwards, doctors operated on her.

She's recovering beautifully and amazingly.

Many have helped her these past weeks, but collectively, we can do more.

Rodan is having a fundraising party for Pooper on May 12th between 10pm and closing. Most of the proceeds from that evening will be donated for her living and hospital expenses.

Her artwork will also be in display that evening. Donations will be accepted at the door.
