I am going to have to keep up some pace because I told Julie I would try to be there to help no later than 1:00. Duppie, I don't think I can spend a lot of time visiting at the water stop!
But even for the Chainlink, I am not going to kill myself!
I am planning on the 62, although I am going to start at North and State rather than ride all the way down to UIC. I am almost certain that Tricolor, Mike, and Jaik are planning the 62.
Serge, I would be delighted to have the company of all of you. It is just that I see your posts about those brewing place rides, and it seems like you just go fast! Will Mattheis have his radio? Maybe I could pedal faster with a radio.
If Mike is going to pull the fox, that might slow him down!
Nice bike, Mike! Will be watching for it.
I'll be on the 62, also riding a LHT...
Duppie--will definitely be stopping and I will find you and admit knowing you. :-) Tricolor, I knew the LHT would not be fast, but it is faster than my other bike! And I seldom try to kill myself. I assume the green and red bar tape is still on your bike, too?
I'll be at the start by 6:30. The LHT is not the fastest bike in the world unless you really try to kill yourself. I've got a chainlink sticker around somewhere but if I can't find it look for the silver bike with Recyclery and Citadelle de Quebec stickers on the rear fender.
I have no idea what I'm going to wear until the weather's certain.
Lisa, Serge, and everyone else that will admit to knowing me.
If you do the 35 or 62 mile route stop and say hi at the Rogers Park Water Stop. I'll be working the rest stop.
Lisa, look forward to see your LHT.
I would love to meet you. (I know Serge, and am always happy to see him.) But you fellows don't want to ride with me! I will be averaging about 12 to 12.5
For further identification, I will be riding my relatively new Long Haul Trucker. It is the smallest size they make and is a pearl color with black fenders. Look for the short person on the short bike just moseying along!
