The 2012 Hazon Cross-USA ride is coming to Chicago! This summer, 20 bicyclists are riding from Seattle to DC to promote sustainable food systems and raise funds for innovative projects.

Sunday July 29 - a Jewish event without food? It’s Tisha b’Av, a traditional fast day. There are millions of people who go hungry every day. Join us for an afternoon of interactive learning on topics to include: hunger amidst plenty, community-based farming as a way to create food security, and Jewish traditions surrounding food, eating, fasting, celebrating. We will have snacks.
