Bike MS Training Ride #12

A young man with MS would like to come to one of our training rides to thank us for supporting the MS Society.

His name is Mike Williams and he lives in Denver, Colorado. His parents live here and he will be coming home for a visit soon. When he found out about our efforts he wanted to thank us.

He was one of the youngest people ever diagnosed with MS at the age of 10. He is 28 now and has been dealing with the effects of the disease all of his life.

Since Mike is willing to spend some of his vacation with us I think we owe him a good turnout, so please RSVP for this ride by Wednesday, May 27.

This will be our last official training ride on Saturday, June 6. We will ride the Old Plank Road trail. We’ll meet in downtown Frankfort and plan to meet with Mike at say 7:30 and ride after that.



I’d like to get at least 30 riders to commit to this ride and make it worth Mike’s time. Please let me know by tomorrow.



The Old Plank Trail is a 20 mile paved trail. You can do as few or as many miles as you like. The trail is pretty flat but there are two optional routes that have some hills, if you are so “inclined”.
