Banff film mountain festival is a world tour featuring some of the most breathtaking and daring videos on outdoors sports, including climbing, skiing, and mountain biking, and its culture. I've been to the festival several times and the films have always been completely awe-inspiring.
It's on two nights, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 pm and goes until around 10 pm. The two nights feature different set of films.
I myself am planning to go Tuesday, but both days look like they have quite a good listing (see Field Museum web link). There is always a crazy stunt cycling film for those who want to see that.
