Description

This is the Second of Four research rides in Austin, Chicago.

Every month I spend aproximately 40 to 60 hours researching each tour. This time is spent checking tax records, reading, going to the library, looking up city records at government buildings, checking against biographical information on builders and architects, and most importantly, riding, and cataloging homes and buildings in the area, all while planning the best possible 12 to 16 mile route of a particular area.

The Tour of Austin is slated for Sunday May 31, 2009 at 1:00 PM, but we will be doing 4 public planning/research rides.

This is number two

Sorry Lee -- I'm doing a tour of the Michael Reese Campus with the Baushaus Society of Chicago this day...

Marauding generally prevents anything involving brain activity the following day - but I am cautiously optimistic.
