About me:

I was on the founding board of directors of the Active Transportation Alliance (formerly Chicagoland Bicycle Federation) and have been active in bike clubs. I've always been an avid bicyclist.

My first bike:

The first bike that I purchased with my own money was a Schwinn Continental, 27" frame, 10 speeds, around 1973 or 1974. It was painted orange. It was stolen around 1980. :-(
