They've gotten much better looking - even my racing snob friends agree. I might actually have to get a pair of white assos shorts to go with this year's version... but I'm not sure I'm ready for such a big step. Tour de Cure is the primary fundraiser for the ADA and the jerseys are open to anyone that rides the event and raises a certain level of donations ($500 in 08). HowEVER, I'm also working on a new program that might have a jersey associated with it... check back with me later this fall!

It's not terribly difficult to build wheels, but the learning process can be taxing, and the practicing process can be frustrating for sure. It'll really take some time to really learn everything, especially since I've only been cycling for a year and counting.

New BB, crankset, stock bars chopped and flipped, hand built wheels by myself (velocity deep v's), fenders, surly hubs, blah blah. I'll post a photo at some point. I'm also working on a new geared project for the winter. Do you ride the Spumoni bike around, or do you have a beater bike?
