About me:: Currently living in Boston..

I am an experienced city cyclist with an academic and professional background in network design and planning for transit agencies. I run a blog and podcast at CriticalTransit.com focused on promoting and improving sustainable transportation modes, examining transportation networks in the cities I visit.

I like to think I'm a very progressive, open-minded person who loves to chat about many things even if bikes are not involved. I'm a longtime vegan interested in the links between all forms of oppression and violence as part of one broad struggle for social and economic justice.
