About me:
I just completed (Oct. 2010) my 10th consecutive charity bike tour in Israel. The ride, with over 400 participants, is called GoodWheel, in English speaking countries, Tour d'Trom in Hebrew. GoodWheel benefits the Israel Sport Center for the Disabled in Ramat Gan, ISR. The Sport Center, started in 1962, uses adaptive sports to rehabilitate physically disabled children and youth. Gw is unique in that a great many disabled rider-athletes participate on both tandems and hand cycles.

As Julie noted, the Chainlink generally doesn't take official positions on issues. However, the Share the Road plates are getting some positive comments, as in the thread Julie referenced.
