Joe,

I'm not to concerned about the vibration and bumps damaging my camera... they are built like tanks! I don't think this application is suitable for video though, mainly because it is way too rigid, especially on a road bike with no suspension.

do you think it's suitable for movies? I spent last week trying to accomplish something like this with tripod pieces and a spare stem.

Hi Joe,

I used a bogen/manfrotto Magic Arm camera mount with a Nikon D300 for this shot. Glad you enjoyed the photo!
