Hello John.  Thanks for checking out the pictures.  They hang to the wall without even using a stud.  I send them out with a toggle system that will hold like 600 pounds per toggle, and there are four in each bike rack.  If you can hit a stud great, but you really don’t have to.  I have even hung them with one toggle and screw just to see if it would hold a bike fine, and it did, though I would not recommend it.  But yeah they seem to hold really well.  The racks with lights use a system I made similar to how a kitchen cabinet is hung, and the racks without lights just plain screw into the toggles.  When installing you just drill a hole, put the toggle in, and then screw it into the wall.  I was thinking about making a Youtube video on how to do it along with sending them out with instructions.  The stairs I am not so sure about, I did not do that.  Probably steel behind the wall or something.  They’ve got to hold a lot of weight.

How is this attached to the wall?  Seems it would have to be anchored pretty well to hold up the bike.  Same with the stairs too actually.
